Product & Product Quality

Posts:
The posts are solid granite. Enough said about the quality of granite. We don’t call our granite posts “The Permanent Solution” for nothing.

The posts come in two colors: Gray and Wheat.
The mailbox posts are smooth on two sides so the mailbox can be mounted properly. The lamp posts are natural on all four sides.

Mailboxes:
The mailboxes are made of heavy gauge cast aluminum. The hinge is 1/8” stainless steel and is one piece from one side to the other. The magnetic latch is so secure that some people have trouble opening it. (Hint: Some people will put a self stick label on the stainless steel hit plate. This makes the magnet not as effective, but still keeps the door closed.)
Mailboxes come in four colors: green, white, black & white.

Mounting Brackets:
The mounting brackets come in many shapes and prices. They are cast iron and made of the same material and coated like century old antique fences. Like the mailboxes, they are not inexpensive, but complement the beauty of granite.
There is an option to purchase wood and PVC brackets. They come in white only.

Lamps:
The lamps (lights) that are on our posts are not unusual or exclusive to Post Options posts. They can be seen at most lighting retailers. We will supply the lamp that we believe best fits the color of the post. If you wish to purchase your own lamp, please feel free to do so, but let us know before you purchase the post. The mounting sleeve on our posts will fit all of the most common lamps. If you want us to connect your lamp during installation of the lamp post, the lamp must be present at the time of install. If the lamp is not available when the post arrives, the customer would be responsible for the lamp install.
